In fact, the idea that we should all go to school and get a good, safe, secure job is a great one but it only worked for about 40 or 50 years. Basically from the 1940's until the late 1980's people could think about getting an education, getting a job, climbing the ladder, then retiring.

My Mom often jokes that life is "20 years of play followed by 40 years of work followed by 20 years of play."

Well, that was true for a very narrow generation of pre-baby boomers and early baby boomers.

Now the government is going to take care of us...the massive national debt will be easy to pay down...government will be friendly to everyone...free markets will reign supreme...it will be easy to conduct business...taxes will be low...small businesses will finally get a fair shake...

As business owners, commission-based professionals, and self-employed entrepreneurs, we know much better.

Please do not get me wrong, I strongly believe in education and even working for someone else for awhile. There is a lot to be learned but it has to be done with the appropriate end in mind.

I much prefer a good government to anarchy.

Now, you probably realize that the IRS rules and the structure of the tax system is completely geared towards an employer-employee arrangement. Well, that is not completely true...there are two tax systems...one for 98% of the population and one for those who know how to structure their finances...such as the supposed "evil rich".
